The first and most foundational step in creating effective herbal skin care is focusing on your carrier oil. An herbal infused oil serves as the base to which one builds upon to create personalized salves, balms, butters, lotions, etc.

There is quite a bit of misleading information on the internet on how to infuse herbs into oils. This can make herbal crafting confusing, intimidating or just plain time consuming. In my class, I will take you step by step through the first of two infusion processes that result in the most effective extractions. There will be a separate class held for the second infusion process.

IN THIS CLASS, WE WILL:

● Walk through every step of infusing dried herbs into oil

● Learn how to properly store, strain, bottle and label your infusions

● Bottle and label the oil you will be taking home with you

● Review how and when to best apply your oil onto yourself or a loved one

● Learn about other herbal body products your infused oil can serve as a base for

WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL TAKE AWAY FROM THIS CLASS:

● A 2oz bottle of herbal infused oil

● A small, take home kit for future at-home infusions

● A step by step, printed guide on how to make herbal infused oils at home

● A list of local and regional dried herb suppliers you can source from

● A supplies list including products and brands I personally support as well as avoid

● A list of medicinal herbs most known for supporting skin, muscle and nerve health

● A $5 discount off all future classes within this series

● My email for continued guidance and questions

THIS CLASS IS PERFECT FOR THOSE WHO:

● Wish to receive a simplified, no fuss introduction into the world of herbal crafting

● Wish to take an active, hands-on approach to herbal medicine making

● Wish to reduce their exposure to toxins and chemicals found in big brand products

● Wish to gather and connect with other like minded individuals with similar goals

● Wish to tap into traditional and ancestral methods of family care
